| Bo Xilai: Chinese Software Enterprises will Bring a Happy Surprise to the World |

China’s Software industry is a new and rising industry with a small share at the global market, nevertheless, it has been provided with conditions for development and strong potential. Therefore, Chinese government highly emphasized the production and trade of domestic software industry.
Mr. Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of PRC, gave the above speech at the opening ceremony of the 3rd China International Software & Information Service Fair on June 23.
Bo Xilai pointed out in his speech that Chinese people were hardworking and talented, could not only do better the labor-intensive industries but also make progress in hi-tech and software industries. We Chinese people will also prove to the world that Chinese enterprises can perform well in organization and production of textile, garments and shoes, and domestic software industry can surprise the world.
Mr. Bo Xilai said that Ministry of Commerce would cooperate with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and other relative departments to create better situations for the production, development and trade of Chinese software industry.
At the opening ceremony, Xu Weiguo, Vice governor of Liaoning Province delivered his speech at first and said to the attendants that theme of the Fair was "Communication, Win-win and Cooperation", aiming at the implementation of national policy of Revitalizing Old Industrial Base of Northeast China to contribute to the revitalization of Liaoning Province.
Mr. Xu Weiguo said that to revitalize Liaoning Province requested to insist on the principle of Creation for Spirit, Reform for Way Out and Open-up for Hope, meanwhile, the provincial government would provide opportunities for intended traders to cooperate with Liaoning's enterprises to realize win-win.
At the end, Luo Haocai, vice chairman of CPPCC, announced the open of the 3rd China International Software & Information Service Fair. Principals of sponsors such as Wei Jianguo, Vice Minister of Commerce, and Gao Yan, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, and other related persons took part in the opening ceremony, then, Mr. Luo Haocai and Mr. Bo Xilai inspected the exhibition.
It is introduced that China International Software & Information Service Fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education, Office of the Leading Group of the State Council for Revitalizing the Old Industrial Bases of Northeast China, Ministry of Science and Technology, Information Office of the State Council, CCPIT and Liaoning Provincial government, supported by Dalian municipal government, and is the only one national software fair approved to be held by the State Council.
During the Fair, Annual Outsourcing Fair of Chinese Software and Information Service, Symposium on Exports of National Software Export Base, Forum on Application of International Financing informationization and Seminar on Copyright Protection were held.
