As an authoritative association of fruit industry in China , our China Fruit Marketing Association will organize SFT’2005 China (Shenzhen) International Fruit, Vegetable and Technology Trade Show on November 10-12, 2005.The show is the largest and most professional fruits & vegetables Expo in China aimed at accelerating import and export of fresh fruits & vegetables and expediting promotion of new technology in the fruit & vegetable industry. It is designated to hold once a year in Shenzhen with the full support of the China government. It will mention to build up a good platform to accelerate further development of the international fruit & vegetable industry.
In 2004, the growth rate of Asian economy reached 7%. whereas China’s growth rate jumped to 9.5% . In last decade, the total growth rate reached higher than 70% and its national income also increased rapidly, which greatly enhance people’s demand on fresh produce products. There were more than 9,000 visitors from 11 countries turned up on the SFT’ 2004, include 9 Chinese mayors with their agricultural & horticultural groups. ￥260 million worth investments were made on 36 projects and more than ￥80 million purchase agreements were signed via the show. More than 200 exhibitors with 37 of them are from overseas and 13 Chinese government groups gained their business acceleration successfully within 3 days.
To continue the success of 2004, SFT’ 2005 is proved by the Ministry of Commerce of China and is organized by China Fruit Marketing Association and China Vegetable Marketing Association. As the only one fresh produce industry exhibition, SFT’ 2005 obtained the support from Ministry of Agriculture, The National Supply and Marketing Cooperation, China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine bureau and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. The organization also combined the support from Agropress (the publisher of “Fruit World International”) and “Fructidor” (Fruits & Vegetable Database, France). All the above are the elements of forging a professional, international and authoritative exhibition in Asia & Pacific region.
We focus on all the procedures of industry chain. New cultivating technology, fertilizer products, packaging, transportation and logistics, inspection and quarantine technology and so on are all appreciated. We are aiming at set up a professional information transmitter to promote the whole industry progress. SFT’ 2005 is attracting 15,000 visitors from China, Japan, Korean, Taiwan, America, Euro and Southeast Asia countries in the area of 10,000 M2, because of the support from Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, all exhibitors’ samples will be transferred into China safely and legally whether China has imported these products before or not. It will be a great help for firms to “Break China Gateway”.
